Eligibility for Funding
Aged Care Funding
To qualify for Aged Care funding, you must meet specific needs and criteria:
- The level of support you require for daily tasks
- Being 65+ years old (or 50+ for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples)
If you are on a low income, homeless, or at risk of homelessness and aged 50+, you may also qualify.

Disability Care Funding (NDIS)
To be eligible for the NDIS, you must:
- Have a permanent and significant disability that impacts daily activities
- Be under 65 years old at the time of application
- Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or Protected Special Category Visa holder
